Pacman Extreme and many more new games!

Today we've release many new games into the 'Play Games' button in our toolbars.

There is a new menu for 'Racing' and we've expanded the 'Sports' area with many more games.

You can now find:
- baseball
- bowling
- darts
- pool
and many more...

The Games menu is becoming BIGGG and you can play many different games now. When you do feel that there is something missing please let me know so I can have a look.

The new Pacman series (Pacman & Pacman Extreme!) can be found under the 'Arcade' menu.

There is much more to come so keep an eye on that area and for now... Enjoy!!

Facebook Live Notifier

In the last couple of days I've experimented with a new toolbar button, the Facebook Live Notifier.

It seems that it's a success! Many people like the option to manage your Facebook from the toolbar so it's here to stay.

What does it do?
The button allows you to gain direct access to your Facebook account. See if there are new messages, post your 'status' to your account and share links with your friends.

Where can I find this?
You can't miss it, the big blue button with the 'F' next to the Email notifier in the toolbar.

I don't have Facebook!
No problem, get one or simply disable the button through the Toolbar options tab so it won't take any space on your toolbar.

Toolbar games button update

Sporttoolbars is online for a few months now and things are going great! I've noticed that the toolbar users enjoy playing the games the toolbar offers :) It used to be a little mess so in the last week I've updated the games area.

All games are categorized now and new games are available. The list will grow a lot as new games are added frequently. See the new Action / Adventure / Sports or Card games among many others.

Have a look and enjoy your free time playing some of the games.

The Soccer Toolbar has been improved! As of today there will be a 'Champions League' button which includes easy access to everything about this biggest European Tourney. News, stats, the schedule, teams, results and a lot more.

Sporttoolbars.com one month online

Today Sporttoolbars.com, the English version, is one month online. So far it's been great. In this month there were 7! toolbars released, F1 / Basketball / General Sports / Korfball / Soccer / Cycling and Tennis.

The toolbars received 500 downloads all together. I'm very happy with this result.
Main aim is to keep improving the toolbars and to develop new sports, all ideas are welcome so feel free to drop me an email with your thoughts.

For now, please keep spreading the BUZZ and tell your friends about Sporttoolbars, drop a blog post or share us on forums you might be active in.

Basketball Toolbar added to Sporttoolbars

Many people asked and now it's there, the Basketball Toolbar!

This toolbar covers basketball worldwide, it features:

* Basketball RSS (= latest news) - NBA, NCAA, Euroleague and more worldwide sites.
* NBA coverage as well as NCAA and the Euroleague, rankings, stats, schedule, video
* News per country: France, Spain, Russia and more.
* Basketball video's

There is of course much more and I really would like feedback when you have ideas how to improve this.

Soccer updates - new international soccer feeds

The Soccer Toolbar has been updated with some very nice new RSS links. It is now possible to check soccer globally more easily. New feeds from Oceania, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean can be found when you click the 'Global' button.

The Tennis Toolbar! ATP / WTA and glandslam news

Today the Tennis Toolbar was released. This toolbar has the same setup as all the others and will be added into rotation under the 'group' button so you can see it in a simple click.

The toolbar will cover tennis worldwide. Get the live RSS feeds from all big tennis sources. The 4 grandslam sites, global tennis and of course the useful link by country. See tennis video's and video news and a lot more.

The Sports Top 100 - promote your site

Today sporttoolbars released a new addition to the site: The Sports Top 100

This is a topslist which will allow webmasters to promote their sites on Sporttoolbars. We've had some request for link trades already and now it's available!

When you own a site, check it out and join, one simple code will be given and you're ready to go!

Feel free to ask questions when things are not clear.

Back from vacation!

It's been a little quiet on the sporttoolbars side but that will change again, I'm back from summer vacation and will work on improving the toolbars and adding new ones real soon!

A small change that's been made to the Korfball Toolbar already is that the 'Worldgames button' has been removed. The games are over and The Netherlands took the win, congrats! The button was a good way to promote these games and on the next big tournament this setup will return.

Formula One Toolbar added to Sporttoolbars.com

Today the Formula One Toolbar has been released.

This toolbar brings you good F1 news feeds from around the world. As always the default new feeds are English. If you'd like to see feeds in your own language you can try the "Countries" button or our translate feature.

The toolbar will be made available to all current members through the group option as usual.

Cycling/Ciclismo Toolbar launched

There is a new toolbar available: Cycling

This toolbar covers cycling worldwide. Bringing you global news and more specific news by country.

Each time a big competition (Tour de France / Giro d'Italia or the Vuelta) comes along you'll get a special button filled with information about this race.

This toolbar is automatically added to the others we have so people who already installed a toolbar can see this one under the group button.

I do want to ask you to drop feedback! I can't cover it all and would really like input on other cycling websites that I've missed, thanks in advance!

Feedback on our content - Suggest sites

This post is linked from within the toolbar and used for feedback suggestions on toolbar content only.

During the creation of a toolbar I'm trying to find as much good content (RSS feeds and site links) as possible. Of course i know i can't cover it all so that's where you come in, the toolbar user :)

The International Korfball Toolbar is available

An other new toolbar is made public today: Korfball

Many of you will think 'what is this?'... I suggest you have a look!

Below is the official press release by the International Korfball Federation (IKF) who supports Sporttoolbars with this initiative.

The International Korfball Federation (IKF) is very happy to support the release of an international korfball toolbar.

The IKF feels fortunate that we can release this toolbar to coincide with the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung (TPE) which begins on July 16, 2009.

The Korfball tournament will take place from 17 - 21 July and will be contested by the eight countries which are currently the top IKF ranked countries in the world.

Sporttoolbars.com is not related to the IKF, however the IKF facilitates this toolbar with its support and will deliver content through it. Amongst others, there is a special link to the 2009 World Games and below that to the korfball tournament specifically.

This toolbar will bring international korfball closer to you by providing easy access and up-to-date information. All of the 57 national korfball federations around the world will be available via the toolbar as well.

Sporttoolbars 'Group' option

This is what sets sporttoolbars apart from other toolbar sites. The group option means that ALL toolbars from our site can be seen and used with ONE install. No need to install a few you're interested in and lose browser space.

On the left in your toolbar (next to the sport logo) you'll see a + icon. Press that and a menu drop down of all toolbars from sporttoolbars.com. Select one and you'll see that your toolbar will reload with the new sport giving you much more information.

In the picture above you can see the 3 toolbars currently available: Soccer, Korfball, and our default International Sports. More will be added in time.

First Sport Specific Toolbar Released: Soccer International

Yeah! A new step for Sporttoolbars: The international version!

Sporttoolbars was founded 29 march 2009 for Dutch speaking clients. It turned out to be something that people really enjoyed so the decision was made to start working on an English version. Step 1 is now online :)

At this moment there only is one toolbar available, the 'default' toolbar which can be downloaded from our mainpage.

I'm working hard to make more toolbars available soon.

The thing that sets this toolbar apart from others is that in time it will be many toolbars in one. Each toolbar that is released will be attached to the live ones so you, our client, can enjoy them all by a simple 'group' or 'rotate' button.

I will place a lot of explanation posts up here.

for now... enjoy the first release and do hand me feedback! The toolbar can not improve without feedback :)
